Jakob Fonnesbech Johnsen has joined Aquagain in a new PTA role and has now completed his first week with us, where he has already gained a good insight into the organisation, his colleagues and the practical reality behind our projects.
The position has been created as part of Aquagain’s development and growth and is intended to create better structure in production data, materials and bills of materials, while strengthening the connection between projects, engineering, purchasing, warehouse and production.
When working across so many parts of the company, it is important to understand more than systems and numbers. That is why Jakob’s first days at Aquagain have also included an introduction to the practical side of our projects – including a visit to a wastewater treatment plant together with an experienced colleague.
Jakob holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Health and a master’s degree in Data Science. He is originally from Værløse, but has lived in Odense since starting his studies. He lives there with his girlfriend and a small collection of pets.
There is plenty of activity outside work as well. His background in sport is not just something on his diploma: Jakob runs marathons, cycles a lot and plans to add swimming to the mix and complete an Ironman next year. When there is finally some time left over, it is often spent on the ongoing renovation of the house.
At Aquagain, Jakob’s role is to create structure and coherence in data and processes across the organisation. This will provide a stronger foundation for planning, purchasing, production and project execution – and make it easier to work more consistently and reliably from project start to delivery.
