We have welcomed Steen Andersen, who joined Aquagain as a Service Technician on 2 November.
Steen is a trained machinist, but has spent many years working as a stainless steel fabricator, including in slaughterhouse environments. He therefore brings solid experience from technically demanding settings where quality, precision and operational reliability are essential.
He also has experience as a workshop foreman with responsibility for apprentices and has worked as a welding coordinator. This means Steen is both highly practical and accustomed to taking responsibility, maintaining an overview and making sure the work functions in practice.
Privately, Steen lives in Vejrup with his wife and their 23-year-old son. The family moved there to be closer to their daughters and their families – and not least their five grandchildren.
When Steen is off work, he likes to focus on something completely different. He enjoys spending time in the garden with bonsai trees and a garden pond which, by his own admission, may have developed into something slightly more ambitious than just a pond. It even has its own treatment system – so apparently he never gets completely away from technical solutions.
He also enjoys fly fishing in the Kongeå river, where the pace is quite different from a busy day in service.
