Production Technologist/Mechanical Engineer/Technical Designer for the Design/Construction Department

The job:

You will be part of a dedicated and committed team in Aquagains office in Brørup, where you will contribute to strengthening the professional level. You will have a versatile job, working closely together in the department, mainly with Inventor, development, design and adaptation. We work across the organisation over the project department, workshop and service department, and therefore you will have good collaboration when you prepare sales quotations, work in order planning or ordered tasks.

Duties:

Reporting to your department manager, you will work on several projects at a time ranging from CAD LEAD on a sales or ordered project to concept development and ad hoc tasks, etc. In collaboration with project management, you will sometimes be required to go off-site.

• You will have contact to subcontractors and across the organisation
• Tasks in Inventor 3D design - 2D documentation, AutoCAD, Vault Pro, MS Office
• Product development, optimisation of the product range and reviewing products/projects
• Discussion and collaboration regarding necessary documentation according to applicable legislation - including CE marking
• Keep up to date on new design solutions and components
• Support for various stakeholders when questions arise
• Continuously keep you informed on the product’s progress in the workshop and the finished product in detail

We imagine your profile/background:

• You are a production technologist/mechanical engineer/technical designer, preferably with tradesperson-related experience from the metal industry
• It will be a definite advantage if you are an experienced user of the 3D drawing software Inventor/Vault
• You speak and write Danish and preferably English
• You know how to work in a structured and independent way, focusing on achieving results in close collaboration with your colleagues, and you have a motivating commitment to your work
• You are cheerful and proactive and have a curious approach to your surroundings
• As a person, you thrive on the occasional time pressure of tasks and enjoy the fact that working days are rarely the same
